Rachael is a determined and passionate individual interested in developing and implementing relevant and sustainable policies to address social and economic inequalities in Africa within the global context. Over the last nine years, Rachael has gathered diverse working experience in multi- cultural settings across sub-Saharan Africa in the areas of International Social Development, Audit and Administration, Leadership Development, Project Planning, Implementation and Coordination. During these experiences, her attention was drawn to the fact that the issues facing Africans are not isolated to one country but rather cut across the continent. The desire to make a more meaningful contribution to solving these problems led her to pursue a Masters in International Affairs at the University of Ghana, Accra. As part of the program, she wrote a thesis on the “Challenges and Prospects in implementing the Adedeji, 2007 and Kagame, 2017 Reports on African Union Reforms”. Her interest in an International Affairs career is rooted in humanitarian concerns that were nurtured in her during the five years she spent on various international mission fields across the African continent. Her interest and knowledge of this area have provided her the opportunity to work with YouLead on program development, documentation, implementation, coordination and reporting which allow her the latitude to be on the ground while at the same time influencing social and economic policies for Africa.
